Our founder and medical director Dr Chee Zhen Lim [AHPRA registration MED0001188982], is a medical practitioner with general registration who performs cosmetic procedures. Dr Lim has over 20 years of clinical experience, first majoring in biochemistry for her undergraduate degree, later amalgamating it with her studies on dermal science. A skincare aficionado, Dr Lim started researching the efficacy of skincare ingredients even before she graduated medical school, firmly believing that it is never too early to "prejuvenate".

A member of the Australian Society of Cosmetic Chemists (ASCC), Dr Lim keeps abreast of the latest developments in cosmetic chemistry through constant study and clinical testing.

As a cosmetic physician, Dr Lim personally performs all treatments for lasers, skin devices, and thread lifts. Through her own experiences as a consummate skincare consumer and a medical professional who performs various skin treatments and procedures on patients, Dr Lim felt that there was a need for post-procedural products that were clinically tested for use after treatment. With a strong background in chemistry, Dr Lim founded Medipeau Cosmedical to develop products that are safe, effective and based in science, not marketing.
Dr Lim's journey was not without its challenges. Medipeau Cosmedical was founded through the COVID-19 pandemic when many fellow Australians were hurting. Dr Lim is aware that now, more than ever, we need to support Australian businesses and add value to our manufacturing industry. With this in mind, Dr Lim pledges to keep all product manufacturing local.

Our maiden product which depicts the dandelion caressed by morning dew holds special significance for Dr Lim. Dandelion is French for "lion's teeth" and very aptly signifies healing, radiating positive energy through challenges and evolving spiritual maturity, standing strong to realise one's hopes and dreams.
Dr Lim's vision is to create a brand that matures and evolves with our consumers, esoteric "youth liberators" empowered by the very products and knowledge Medipeau Cosmedical impart.
